Is a small hamlet approximately 7 minutes drive from Fiskardo port. Driving through the forest clad road, you arrive at this quaint peaceful village with luscious vegetation, where both the road and time stop.
The old traditional part of the hamlet comprises approximately 20 village houses going back to the 1800’s, keeping their nostalgic past with the olive oil mills in their clears and stone passages. Modern luxurious villas have been built around it. There are no cars, safe for children and peaceful to the visitor's senses. The village is built on a hilltop, offering most houses fabulous views to the Ionian Sea.
If one likes walking, there is a quaint hidden beach, waiting to be discovered by the visitors right at the bottom of the village.
Evreti is a peaceful gem, close enough to the vibrant cosmopolitan port of Fiskardo, yet boasting of the exclusivity of being "away from it all".
Fiskardo is the main tourist destination in Kefalonia. It is a picturesque and beautiful harbour village in the Northern part of Kefalonia. It is unique in that it is the only village in Kefalonia that has so many of the original Venetian buildings intact and still in use.
Traditional fishing boats moor alongside the most luxurious yachts and their owners, attracted to the island and the tranquility of Fiskardo.
The harbour is lined by a plethora of inviting waterside shops, restaurants and bars, impeccably and tastefully decorated, giving a unique charm to its waterfront. A number of boutiques with elegant, fashionable greek designer clothes, famous for their unique resort wear, are a perfect treat for any woman's soul.
At night the lights of the old colourful buildings , cafes, restaurants and bars, all combine to create a magical Mediterranean atmosphere. Fiskardo stands out as having a special and unique ambience of beauty and cosmopolitan vibe.
Kefalonia being the largest of the seven Ionian islands, offers a lot of sightseeing. Daily trips from Fiskardo vary from 20 minutes drive to visit the world famous majestic Myrtos beach and picturesque Assos village, to an hour to see unique Melissa lake and ancient Drogarati caves.
Taking or hiring a boat to visit Lefkas island or the stunning exotic turquoise waters of the Afales beaches in Ithaca, will take about half an hour. On the island of Kefalonia, the visitor is never left idle.
